Why is important to practice social intelligence?

Social Intelligence is a very important character strength because, listening is a skill that is just as important as reading, writing or speaking, but the majority of  the people don't care about be a good listeners.But besides listening to that person is they are many other type of listening for example,the body language, but the principal think about this character strength is that is very important to learn how to listening to the other people because if we don't listening to that person, they will know that you are not interested in the thinks that he or she is telling you, and wen you want someone to listen to you,it will be no one to listen to you.
